Wedding Photography at the Peak Edge Hotel - Kerri & Lewis

The Peak Edge Hotel has had a place on my favourite wedding venues list for a number of years now. I love the mixture of modern hotel with classy traditional country inn, the surroundings are just lovely, and the interior of the function suites are the perfect mix of on-trend and country casual.

As it was a beautiful day, Kerri & Lewis chose to hold their ceremony outside in the gardens surrounded by nature, and watched over by the highland cattle in the field next door! Kerri got ready in the stunning bridal suite which was only a short wander for me to meet Lewis and his groomsmen for a photo call.

The majority of the day was spent documenting as many unguarded moments as I could, but still making sure to pop up and organise some ‘official’ shots every now and again.

One of the highlights for me was taking a ride out to the neighbouring Beeley Moor during that quiet time just after dinner, but before the party kicked off. It’s something I always offer to my Peak Edge couples and it’s become a really popular thing. This particular trip garnered me some of my fave images of the day as Kerri just said ‘yes’ to every suggestion I came up with, including a climb over a fence to get us to the most photogenic field :)

Check out some of their big day below…
