Tissington Hall wedding photography - Lizzie & Anthony

I know you shouldn’t have favourites, and I do love all the wedding venues I visit in different ways, but I’ve always had a soft spot for photographing weddings at Tissington Hall.

Both St Mary’s Church and Tissington Hall are stunning locations for wedding photography. The church dates back to the 13th century and is seriously quaint and pretty. BUT… Tissington Hall, which is located right across the road from the church, is even more stunning with its grand facade and sprawling grounds. The gardens serve as the perfect location for romantic couple shots.

The two of these put together is a bit of a dream combo for me. We got loads of lovely photographs at Lizzie & Floyd’s (nobody calls him Anthony apparently!) wedding but some of my faves are the ones where everybody is walking back to the hall from the church after the wedding.

Both Lizzie and Floyd were getting ready for the wedding at Tissington Hall. I dropped in to see Lizzie and her crowd first off, then popped across the courtyard to find Floyd and his fellas.

After the ceremony in church, and the photo call in the gardens we wandered over to the well hidden marquee for the wedding breakfast and evening reception, AND I managed to drag them back out quickly for a couple of dusky shots to finish the day with!

Enjoy Lizzie & Floyd’s wedding photographs at Tissington Hall…

Special thanks to Catherine & Gabi at Tissington Hall for keeping things running like clockwork, and David from Bliss Weddings for working hard as daytime MC and evening DJ!
