Shottle Hall wedding photography - Bekki & Charmaine

Aw lovely Bekki & Charmaine! I had such a fab time and a great laugh with them both, and their families at one of my favourite wedding venues Shottle Hall back in February.

Both brides got ready at Shottle so it was a nice easy task for me to keep popping back and forth between the rooms to grab a few prep photographs. We got pretty lucky with the weather even though that meant the low winter sun gave me some nightmare contrast to deal with for the ceremony shots - I wouldn’t be a proper photographer if I didn’t find something to moan about though eh… :)

It was lovely to shoot a wedding ceremony in the Orangery at Shottle Hall - I don’t see many ceremonies take place in there but it’s a stunning-looking option if your guest numbers exceed the maximum for the lounge.

The pair left the ceremony with a full military guard of honour, and after a few family shots we took their dogs off for a bit of a photo sesh around the gardens. Shottle Hall is one of the original dog-friendly wedding venues in the area.

The reception was in the Coach House Marquee which meant the brides used the whole of the Shottle Hall Estate to great effect! We snuck out for an epic night shot in the wedding pavilion before I left them in peace to party the night away :)

Check out their finished photographs below!

Shoutout to the fabulous Jo at Iced & Spliced for the super classy decoration, and lovely Bev at Floraline for the flowers. Both highly recommended!
