Wedding photography at Stretton Manor Barn - Katy and Mary

Ooh this was a fun and laughter-filled day!

Katy & Mary’s wedding at Stretton Manor Barn in Derbyshire was one I was looking forward to for quite a while. There were a few more ‘standard’ must-have shots on the list but mostly it was things like shots with their leather jackets, smoke bombs down the lane, sparklers, and don’t forget the handfasting after the legal bit was done and the registrars were safely on their way back to the office :)

Things started off just a few miles up the road in the amazing accommodation (next to a wonderful farm shop and cafe, just saying) at Stretton Hall Farm - no relation to the venue apparently, but a great trusted partner of theirs for accommodation.

Katy & Mary were getting ready together, sort of, as they were also trying not to see each other before the ceremony so I ended up being head chaperone and making sure doors and curtains were closed at all the right times!

Its great to see that Stretton Manor Barn is a dog-friendly wedding venue, Katy & Mary’s dogs made a surprise appearance halfway through the day.

I had the most awesome time and tons of laughs though the day, and I was very pleased to get back to my comfy chair and relax after I left everybody partying the night away later on :)
