Wedding Photography at Hardwick Hall, Derbyshire - Nicole & Jack
Wow. What else to say about the magnificent Hardwick Hall! One of Derbyshire’s finest stately home, it’s now looked after by the National Trust, and I was thrilled as always to get the chance to photograph a wedding there.
Nicole & Jack are an awesome couple! They are super stylish and had tons of ideas for the photography of their wedding. I worked them hard on their big day, we used the interiors of the hall and shot all around the gardens.
Jack, like me, is a bit of an astronomy geek and one shot he decided we must include was the last shot of the evening – the two of them, with Hardwick Hall behind them, under a perfectly clear star-filled sky. This led to them standing totally still for a 30-second exposure in the pitch dark, while I ran around with lights to illuminate them.
Worth it 🙂
