White Hart Moorwood Moor Wedding Photography – Sharni & Joe

It may have been the middle of June, but I spent an exciting and fun day dodging rain showers with the fabulous Sharni & Joe!

The White Hart at Moorwood Moor is a great wedding venue, and on this occasion, I also got to visit one of my favourite little churches in lovely old Pentrich, too.

Photography started off at Sharni’s parent’s house where everybody was getting ready. It was good to see Sharni’s dad making himself useful in the kitchen turning out order after order of poached eggs 🙂

I met up with Joe and his crew in the delightful Dog Inn just across from the church in Pentrich. Over the years I’ve noticed that this has become standard practice for wedding party arrivals, and I never even bother to check the church for the groom’s party when I arrive, as I know exactly where they will be 🙂

After the service and some serious shower-dodging we headed off to settle down at the reception for more photographs, nibbles, and drinkies. As you can see from the photo gallery, Sharni’s bride squad was fully on point all afternoon, protecting that amazing dress from the worst of the weather and helping us scurry out for photo calls when we saw the sun again. Oh, and scramble over a fence for a shot on a country path that Sharni’s mum just HAD to have 🙂
